Moon-Lined Moth

Here is a delicately-patterned larger moth we found sitting in a hanging basket of begonias on the patio.

The moon-lined moth is listed as common along most of the East Coast. Its larvae prefer honey locust trees for food.

Luckily for these guys, we have two honey locusts in the yard.
