Banded Tussock


About 3 dozen of these moths from the tiger family invaded the wild milkweeds one night.

They fed with wings fluttering or still, open or closed, and the camera lights did not seem to disturb them in the slightest. They were such cooperative subjects that we have several more shots of them posted on the site.
