Unlike the fussier lepidoptera such as the monarchs, which will only eat milkweeds, the larva of this elegantly simple moth has a varied diet of trees and shrubs: ash, birch, cherry, elm, maple, oak, pine, willows are all found in this area. Maybe it would be quicker to list the things it doesn't eat? |
